Edvardas Golovinas: Excellent app. Great app. However, the “zoom out” button disappeared when an object was selected. Now, there is only “zoom in”, which makes it difficult to pan around with one hand. Furthermore, a double-tap zoom function on any part of the sky would be a welcome addition, especially since I can’t seem to highlight/select an object of 4.5 magnitude at 25° FOV so I could zoom in further. To turn the visibility chart, open bottom drawer.
Eric Khun: Stellarium has been my trusted companion for over 2 years. I don’t regret my purchase. It’s amazing! The sky map is responsive and can be moved with your phone. I love the illustration of what it represents. It’s so handy to be able turn my phone to see which stars are which. Protip: It’s also great for dating. You can pretend to know which stars are which by going to a specific place in advance.
